If you have a review or approval role in GMS and are going to be out of the office or unable to access GMS for a period of time, please delegate your inbox to someone else in your organization. It is essential that items in your GMS Inbox are reviewed regularly so that business processes are not delayed. Please make sure the person you delegate your inbox to has the appropriate roles in order to take action of those tasks. If you are unsure of who to delegate your inbox to, please contact your Client Services Partner or HR Contact for guidance.
Submit your inbox delegation request prior to the effective date of the delegation. This request will route for approval in GMS, so it is best practice that you submit the delegation request in advance.
What SHOULD you do?
Log into GMS to delegate your Inbox. Navigate to your Inbox, click the drop-down arrow then select My Delegations.
On the Current Delegations tab, click the Manage Delegations button.
*Select “Retain Access to Delegated Tasks in Inbox” in order to still view those inbox items during the delegation period:
