Please be aware of the following recent updates to GMS processes, job aids or reports as of December 4, 2017.
HCM171204.01 - Update to Electronic I-9s
The following updates have been made to the Electronic I-9 processes:
- The Review Form I-9 step will route to the I-9 Analyst role for all campuses
- All HRCs, excluding Main Campus, will be assigned the I-9 Analyst role at the Campus supervisory org level
- HR will function as backup I-9 Analysts for all new hires
- The Electronic I-9 job aid has been updated to reflect these changes
The steps for completing Section 2 of the Form I-9, Section 3 or the Amend Form I-9 processes will not change. Users with the I-9 Analyst role may start to see Electronic Form I-9s for new hires on their campus outside of the organizations for which they are an HR Contact. HCM171204.02 - Update to Assign Costing Allocation step within Change Job
There is no longer an option to skip the Costing Allocation step for Job Management supervisory orgs. Users may still skip the step for Change Jobs into Position Management supervisory orgs. The Costing Allocation and Change Job job aids have been updated to reflect these changes.
HCM171204.03 - Non-Tenure Line Faculty Job Profiles for Main Campus
Sixteen new Non-Tenure Line job profiles for Main Campus faculty have been created replacing the Main Campus Non-Ordinary and Main Campus Researcher profiles and should be used going forward. In addition, current Faculty assigned to the deprecated job profiles have been moved to the relevant new job profile; this mapping was provided by MCOAA. The new job profiles are listed below:

FIN171204.01 - Update to Financial Reviewer approval of expense reports
If a Financial Reviewer creates an expense report, the expense report will now be routed to the Financial Reviewer of the cost center charged in the expense report. If the initiating Financial Reviewer is the only Financial Reviewer for that cost center, then the approval will automatically move on to the Cost Center Manager for approval.
