What’s New in GMS – April 23, 2018

Please be aware of the following recent updates to GMS processes, job aids or reports as of April 23, 2018.

HCM Update

HCM180423.01 – New GU Roster Data Management Report

Impacted Roles: Academic HR Partner, Campus Finance Partner, CFO, Compensation Analyst, Finance Partner, GU-HR Institutional Reporting, HR Contact, HR Executive

The GU Roster Data Management – Employees Not Paid in 90 Days report provides a list of all of the employees within a user’s organization that have not been paid in at least 90 days. This report should be run every quarter and can be used to manage rosters and remove employees that are no longer working. The default prompts are to look at Adjunct Faculty and Hourly Student workers.

HCM180423.02 – GU Position Restrictions Details Report Update

Impacted Roles: Academic HR Partner, Campus Finance Partner, CFO, Compensation Analyst, Finance Partner, GU-HR Institutional Reporting, HR Contact, HR Executive

The GU Position Restrictions Details report now allows for reporting on Closed positions. The default prompts are for Open and Filled positions but those prompts can be adjusted. Also, Job Requisition Compensation information now appears for Positions with Job Requisitions.

Finance Update

FIN180420.01 – Purchase Order Update

Impacted Roles: GU-AVP Approver; GU-VP Approver; GU-Capital Procurement Contract Manager; Initiator

Modified Purchase Order Event (Capital Projects Purchase Order) For [Capital IT SOW Projects ] to add two approvers and an additional step to add signed SOW at the end of the BP.
