Apple’s eProcurement supplier link (punchout) through the Georgetown Management System (GMS) is temporarily unavailable. We are expecting this to be back soon, and apologize for any inconvenience this is causing. This alert will be updated as soon as the link is available.

Please be advised that Workday is currently experiencing an intermittent unplanned service interruption. Workday is actively working to resolve this issue and we will update this message when the issue is resolved.

The Uniform Guidance Website used by the Pre-Award and Post-Award offices to submit risk assessment applications for set up as/authorize as sub-recipients is currently unavailable. The GMS team along with other teams in UIS is troubleshooting the root cause. We will update this alert as soon as we have additional information. Please contact help@georgetown.edu (new window) if you have an immediate need to complete an assessment or initiate a new assessment.

Dear Colleagues,

Workday has become aware of an issue with a conversion they delivered with the August 18, 2023 service update. For delegations that contain Absence tasks to request or correct time off, the conversion added new absence experience tasks to current and future delegations.

Editing these delegations causes this validation Error: The entered information does not meet the restrictions defined for this fields (instance).

Workday is actively working on a solution and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.

Workaround:

  1. Remove the following instances from the Start On My Behalf field:

Request Time Off for a Worker
Edit Time Off for Self
Request Time Off for Self

  1. This will remove the instances causing the incorrect validation and allow the delegation settings to be updated.

We will continue to keep this updated as the issue us resolved.

Dear Colleagues,

The GMS Core team has identified an issue where users may not be able to complete punch out orders due to a timeout error when returning to Workday to complete the requisition.

The GMS Core team is actively investigating this issue and will update this alert as soon as additional information is available. 

Workaround:

We have found this to be occurring when the user is on wifi through Saxanet. If you do experience this, please try using a hardwired connection.

We will continue to keep this updated as the issue us resolved.

Dear Colleagues,

Workday has identified an issue where users may not be able to access the Archive in My Tasks due to an error. The error displays a red exclamation mark. 

Workday is actively investigating this issue and will update this alert as soon as additional information is available. Meanwhile, we suggest users utilize the workaround below. 

Workaround:

The View More Processes report allows users to view all archived tasks.

Users can run this report from Workday’s global search. Users can select a date range when running this report and it will display all tasks completed during the selected time period.

Dear Colleagues,

Workday has identified an issue when exporting a report to Excel or PDF. After starting an export from the UI report output, the notification with the expected file is never shown, and no error is displayed.

Workday is actively working on a fix with high priority. We apologize for the inconvenience this issue may cause. This alert will be updated as we receive status updates from Workday.

Update: Workday reported this issue at 1:52AM EST on June 5, 2023 and a resolution was provided at 2PM EST on June 5, 2023.

There is a known issue that while editing the responsibilities for a position, or creating a new position, the spacing will change erroneously, adding unintended spacing to the responsibilities entered. This issue will be resolved by Workday this weekend.
