What’s New in GMS – March 5, 2018

Please be aware of the following recent updates to GMS processes, job aids or reports as of March 5, 2018.

HCM Update

HCM180305.01 – Faculty and Fellow Electronic I-9s

Impacted Roles: Employee as Self, Faculty I9 Manager, I-9 Analyst, Academic HR Partner, HR Contact

The Onboarding process has been updated to include the Complete Form I-9 task for Faculty and Fellows as of March 1, 2018. In addition, a new role of Faculty I9 Manager has been created to support the I-9 process for faculty. For more details on the university I-9 process please visit the I-9 section of the Human Resources website.

Finance Update

FIN180305.01 – Invoice Type Updates

Impacted Roles: Customer Contract Specialist

A new Customer Invoice type of School of Continuing Studies (SCS) has been added and existing invoice types have been updated to display line level from and to date, quantity, unit cost, and unit of measure when populated.

FIN180305.02 – Revenue Location Hierarchy

Impacted Roles: Customer Contract Specialist

The location of 640 Mass Ave NW has been added to the Revenue Location Hierarchy.
