What’s New in GMS – February 12, 2018

Please be aware of the following recent updates to GMS processes, job aids or reports as of February 12, 2018.

Finance Updates

FIN180212.01 – New Customer Contract Type

Impacted Roles: Customer Contract Specialist, GU-Global Services Approver

A new Customer Contract Type “International” has been added. In addition, customer contracts with customer address not US or with a contract type of International will automatically route to Office of Global Services for approval.

FIN180212.02 – Customer Contract Cancellation

Impacted Roles: Customer Contract Specialist

Customer Contract Cancellation should be processed as a Customer Contract Amendment with an amendment type of Cancel and a New Contract Status of Cancelled. This will route to the Senior Business Manager for approval. In cases where the contract was for more that $100K, the cancellation will also route to the Campus CFO.
