Please be aware of the following recent updates to GMS processes, job aids or reports as of April 22, 2019.
HCM Update
HCM190422.01 – Update Costing Allocation Validation Rule
Impacted Roles: Academic HR Partner, HR Contact
Update validation rule on Assign Costing Allocation business process. The previous validation looked at the Primary Job Family Group. The updated validation looks at the Job Family Group associated with the position tied to the costing allocation.
HCM190422.02 – New Annualized Salary Fields on HCM Reports
The Roster Data Management reports and Staffing Events in Date Range have been updated to reflect newly developed annualized salary fields. These fields take into account the actual end dates on the compensation plans.
HCM190422.03 – Job Requisitions and Default Comp Validation Rules
Impacted Roles: HR Contact, Academic HR Partner, Department Administrator, Finance Partner, CFO
Added new validation rule to Job Requisition business process to not allow compensation above the hiring max. Replaced Change Default Comp business process validation so that default compensation must be less than absolute grade max, not hiring max.
HCM190422.04 – HCM Workload Reporting
Impacted Roles: HR Executive, Academic HRP
Newly developed report GU HCM BP Workload Reporting By Month allows end users to report on number of HCM business process transactions in a time frame by various dimensions including initiator, initiator role, supervisory organization, etc.

FIN190422.01 – Updates to GU Find Requisitions
Impacted Roles: Accounts Payable Settlement Specialist, Controller, Cost Center Manager, GU-Campus Financial Reporter, GU-Central Buyer, GU-Co-Principal Investigator, GU-Cost Center Buyer, GU-Finance CFO, GU-Finance Institutional Reporting, GU-Finance Institutional Reporting Plus, GU-Financial Reporter, GU-Financial Reviewer, GU-Grant Financial Analyst, GU-Grant Manager, GU-Lead Principal Investigator, GU-Principal Investigator, GU-Requisitioner, GU-Senior Business Manager, Supplier Contract Specialist

FIN190422.02 – Income Statements by Month Available to Additional Roles
