What’s New in GMS – August 21, 2017

Please be aware of the following recent updates to GMS processes, job aids or reports as of August 14th, 2017.

Finance Updates

FIN.170819 – Mass Award Correction for Location, Special Conditions and Cost Center to Award Headers

Awards have been updated with the campus Building Location, Private Business Use (PBU) Special Condition Code, and the Cost Center on the award header. Legacy PeopleSoft special conditions were converted to awards as well.

Summary:

2971 awards corrected

Cost Center added on 2971
Location added on 2084
New Special Conditions added – 1772
Award Line Status changed from Active to Complete on 330 lines
Signed Date corrected on 1

270 awards excluded from correction

169 awards have Basis Limit
75 awards not in Approved status or have all Cancelled lines
34 awards excluded for other exceptions
