What’s New in GMS – September 3, 2018

Please be aware of the following recent updates to GMS processes, job aids or reports as of September 3, 2018.

HCM Update

HCM180903.01 – Edit Service Dates

Impacted Roles: Academic HR Partner, Compensation Analyst, Employment and Recruitment Specialist

The Edit Service Dates step in the Hire business process has been removed for Faculty and Fellow rehires. For Administrative rehires, this step will now route to the Compensation Analyst for completion.

HCM180903.02 – Offer Update

Impacted Roles: Primary Recruiter

A new condition rule was added to the Job Application Business Process that prevents Primary Recruiters from moving a candidate out of the offer stage without the offer being initiated and a hire date being selected.
