What’s New in GMS – January 23, 2023

As of January 20, 2023, W-2s for 2022 available for employee self service (for active workers) in GMS. The University’s tax and print vendor, ADP, mailed paper W-2s to active employees who did not opt-out of receiving a printed copy and to former employees.

Impacted Role: HR Client Services Partner
HR Client Services Partners now have the ability to deny terminations in GMS.

Onboarding Notifications for Administrative Staff have been updated to reduce redundant information.

Employment Verifications are now supported by ADP in coordination with The Work Number. More information may be found here: https://hr.georgetown.edu/empl_verification/ (new window)

Workers will now receive a system-generated email notification after submitting a retirement savings change in GMS. The notification indicates that the change is being reviewed by the University Retirement Manager.

Workers can now elect to be taxed in Wisconsin.
