What’s New in GMS – November 7, 2023

Please be aware of the following recent updates to GMS processes, job aids or reports as of November 7, 2023.

HCM Updates

The GU Roster Data Management – Worker & Position Details report has been updated to include the contract end date, the most recent effective date of current position, costing allocation distribution amount, primary work email, and primary work phone number. A new prompt was also added to allow users to select Worker Type when running the report.

Impacted Role: Manager

Managers now have the ability to initiate the End Additional Job Business Process. For additional information, please refer to this job aid.

Impacted Role: HR Contact

Administrative Job Requisitions (excluding GU-Q) now will require the Remote field to be populated. If the work mode is “Remote,” then the Additional Job Description field must be populated with the pay range. Please contact Human Resources if you have questions.

Impacted Role: Manager

As of November 3, parking elections will be processed directly in GMS. Current parkers do not need to re-enroll into automatic deductions. Please refer to this job aid for more details, and contact the Office of Transformation Management with any questions or concerns about your parking elections.

HR Contacts now have the ability to cancel in progress Request Compensation Change business processes.
